Verified buyers only
Buyers apply to join CaratBid and are reviewed before they can receive opportunities. We look at business identity, trading history and references. Buyers who behave poorly can be suspended.
Confidential by design
Your name, email and phone number are never shown to buyers. Buyers see the diamond, its characteristics, photographs and general location. Communication passes through CaratBid until you choose to proceed.
No obligation, no pressure
An offer is an invitation, not a commitment. You can accept one, ask questions, or decline every offer without giving a reason. There is no fee to a seller for submitting or receiving offers.
A clear written record
Every offer is recorded with its amount, currency, conditions and time. You can compare offers side by side in your account rather than relying on memory or a verbal quote.

CaratBid specialises in natural diamonds. That focus means our buyer network is made up of businesses that actively want natural stones, rather than a general second-hand marketplace.
What CaratBid does not do
